Kuri Studio - Two Rooms

Designed by Kuri Studio, Two Rooms is a thoughtful and highly resolved project that demonstrates how intelligent design can transform compact spaces. The brief focused on reconfiguring two existing bedrooms to create flexible, functional and future-proof environments, maximising usability while working within a defined budget and footprint.

Through precise spatial planning and carefully integrated joinery, the design introduces layered storage, workspaces and adaptable living solutions that respond to the changing needs of the occupants. Each insertion respects the original character of the home while enhancing comfort, warmth and everyday practicality. The result is a calm and cohesive interior where every element is considered, allowing small spaces to perform beyond expectations.

TrueGrain® reconstituted veneer in Honeysuckle was selected to complement the project’s refined and contemporary palette. Its consistent grain and soft tonal quality enhance the sense of cohesion across the custom joinery, delivering a durable, elegant finish that supports the project’s focus on flexibility, craftsmanship and timeless design.
